Farmhouse Štekar

štekar farm is situated in a tranquil little village on the top of a hill with an excellent view onto the vineyard terraces and orchards bathing in the warm Goriška Brda sunlight. A warm welcome, homemade lunch and a glass of fine wine from the cellar guide you into the pleasant embrace of štekar homestead. The time stands still here, the body recharges and the soul rejoices.

There are 6 fantastic rooms in the house. Two are slightly larger and take 4 people, whereas others are double. Of course, each one has its own bathroom, but you won’t find a TV in any of them. Instead, there will be a good book waiting on your night stand. A hearty breakfast consisting of local treats is served in the morning. You can also arrange a picnic basket and have a snack on the meadow or amongst the vines.

The peaceful ambiance of štekar farm is ideal for organizing business meetings, workshops, seminars and other social events or celebrations. A tasting room is available for such opportunities. You can also have a look at štekar wine cellar and taste their excellent wines.

Goriška Brda is a paradise for gourmets and fans of top quality wine, hikers, bikers and all other people who like to enjoy themselves. Relax by the pool, pamper your taste buds, take a walk through the vineyards, cycle across the panoramic hills, visit the middle age village of šmartno and ascend to the nearby Mt. Sabotin.
