How to get there:
The ossuary with the church on top of the rocky hill right above Kobarid is your orientation point. If you come to Kobarid from Tolmin, turn right just before Kobarid town center onto the main road towards Bovec. Continue over the bridge and turn sharply to the left towards town center at the first possible crossroad (the climbing area can be seen from here already). Park at a wider spot on the left side of the road.
Access:
You only have to cross the road from the parking lot and you are already at the foot of the climbing wall (2 minutes).
Best time for climbing:
Due to the low altitude and the influence of the coastal climate, climbing is possible throughout the whole year. Of course, it is most beautiful in spring or on sunny winter days without wind. In the summer it often gets very hot.
Orientation of the wall:
The climbing area faces south.
The small wall offers vertical climbing on a rock with many handholds. The routes on the left are somewhat easier compared with those running across the middle section. A helmet is advisable.
