How to get there:
Leave 'Ljubljana – Jesenice' motorway on exit Lesce. Follow signposts leading you through Bled towards Bohinjska Bistrica and onwards to Ribčev Laz near Lake Bohinj. Park on a nice parking lot in front of the village (right-hand side) or by Hotel Jezero (almost at the shore of Lake Bohinj).
Access:
Turn left from the main road at Hotel Jezero and follow an asphalt road until a dirt road branches off on your right (about 600 meters). The dirt road takes you shortly to the first (easier) sector.
Best time for climbing:
It is best to climb from late spring to early autumn. On hot summer days it is better to climb in the afternoon.
Orientation of the wall:
The crag is facing east.
Warning: The parking lot before Ribčev Laz is free of charge, but the one by Hotel Jezero has a fee.
Because of its numerous easy routes, this climbing area is suitable for beginners and 'family climbing'. You will mostly find plates with excellent rock and many handholds. The rock dries off quickly after rain. An additional factor contributing to the crag's popularity, is its closeness to the lake.
