How to get there:
You can come to Cerkno through Poljanska valley (Škofja Loka - Hotavlje - Cerkno), Selška valley (Škofja Loka - Železniki - Davča - Cerkno) or from Primorska region (from Idrija or Most na Soči). Once in the center of Cerkno look for the signposts for Zakojca, which direct you northwards. An asphalt road begins to ascend gradually. At the only crossroad turn right towards Poče. Park around 100 m before the first houses in Poče at a sharp right turn. Be careful not to hinder the passing tractors!
Description:
It is hard to get lost here. Simply follow a tractor road which takes you to a stream and then continue along the stream to the waterfalls. You will walk about 20 minutes to the first one and additional 10 minutes to the second one, where two separate streams actually come together in one waterfall. If there is lots of water, it might be difficult to get really close to the second waterfall, but in the summer drought you might be disappointed by the water level. Return to the start point the same way or make a short detour across the meadows around Poče (see GPS data).
