Guesthouse Berc, Bled

Guesthouse Berc has a long tradition. The year on the entrance portal indicates that it all began in 1843. At first, they were engaged in farming but soon (in 1908) they turned towards tourism.

Today the guesthouse is led by the third generation of the family Berc. As soon as you step into the house, you feel the warmth and coziness radiating from the antique furniture in rural style, the wood, and the rustic accessories. The pension is surrounded by a big and very well-kept garden - an ideal place for relaxing! This is also the place where in the late afternoon one of the finest Bled restaurants comes alive – Berc Steakhouse.

10 comfortable rooms await you with fresh fruit, chilled champagne, mineral water, and a sweet surprise as a welcome gift. All rooms have air-conditioning, cable TV, telephone and a modern bathroom. In each room, there is also a fridge and a kettle for preparing tea or coffee. All rooms open up to a balcony on which you can enjoy a great view, some fresh air, and a light breeze from the neighboring Julian Alps. We should point out that there is free internet, free parking and even free bike rental.

Spending the night at Guesthouse Berc leads to a great culinary delight in the morning: a hearty buffet-style breakfast. You can expect exquisite homemade food from the nearby farms: jam, honey, butter, yogurt, milk, cheese and cold cuts, bread, pâté, and even smoked trout: all local and delicious!
