Alpine Homestead, Bohinj

Great location, top-notch design and architecture, natural materials, wooden roof, cosy atmosphere and friendly hosts. Homestead Ročnjek is all this and much more. It is located inside the Triglav National Park, at approx. 1000 m above sea level. It is far enough from the 'hustle and bustle' of lakes Bled & Bohinj to charm all nature lovers and yet close enough for a quick drive to the lake for some swimming or to Vogel for skiing.

The homestead offers 6 apartments which take up from 2 to 6 people. They all have their own bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchen. You are surrounded by wood and the furniture, which ensures modern comfort with a pinch of traditionalism, will surely impress you.

There's also a children playroom or a small gym with a climbing wall and table tennis equipment. The common area with kitchen and conference room is intended for business meetings and closed groups. All those who need some relaxation will enjoy the wellness area with Finnish and infra-red sauna, you can even order a massage. The wellness can be used by external guests as well.

Outside you can find a big terrace and a courtyard with a playground and a picnic place with barbecue.

The surrounding area is amazing! There are two beautiful viewpoints nearby: Vodnikov razglednik looks on Bohinj and Galetovec on Bled. You can reach both viewpoints on foot right from the homestead. Don't forget to visti Pokljuka Gorge. Pokljuka is a heaven for mushroom pickers and cyclists, there are cross-country skiing trails near the house and numerous more or less demanding hiking tours in the heart of the Julian Alps start close by.
